There are a number of ways how you can contribute. Please see below and select whatever suits you most. Here’s an overview:
- Offer alms food to SBS monastics at Taiping Insight Meditation Society (TIMS) daily at 8:00am. View pics of dāna at TIMS here.
- If you are from outstation, abroad, or too busy to come to TIMS in the morning, you have the chance to sponsor food for the day for RM100 (per sponsor) on your date of choice. Each date can have up to 2 sponsors. To identify an available (auspicious) date, please see full-size calendar here. Choose one of the payment methods from the adjacent text-boxes and provide the following details when making the transfer:
Purpose: “TIMS Dana Sponsorship”
Name of sponsor: e.g. “Tan Ah Beng”, or “Bro Tan & family”;
Date of dana: e.g. 05.08.2022
NOTE: The booking for any date will be confirmed upon our receipt of proof of payment.

- Provide financial assistance/sponsorship (see adjacent payment methods)
- Send us your valued opinions, suggestions, questions, and any other forms of feedback that may help us to improve further.
Your good deeds are much appreciated. They contribute greatly to the success of Sāsanārakkha Buddhist Sanctuary and the prolongation of the Buddhasāsana.

Despite the ongoing stream of physical, mental and material support that SBS receives, it is sometimes difficult for us to know who of our supporters wishes to contribute in exactly what way.
In order to get a better understanding of the various skills and areas that you wish to provide, we would like to invite you to fill out the enclosed form. The goods and services mentioned there can be provided either for free, at a discount, or at market price. This is fully up to you.

This initiative is designed to be mutually beneficial – to you, our supporters, in that you can be sure to offer something that is actually needed, and to SBS in that we are able to get goods and services at fair price.
