In keeping with tradition, after the vassa, a Kathina Ceremony will be held at SBS on Sunday, 11 November 2007.
You will witness the practice of a kathina ceremony that is in accordance with the scriptural tradition where the Sangha will come together and cooperate to cut, sew and dye the kathina cloth into a robe.
You will also get to personally experience the offering of pindapata (alms food) to the Sangha on their pindacara (walking for alms).
Come and give your support to our Sangha and at the same time give yourself the opportunity to participate in rewarding and meritorious activities.
So, start making your year-end holiday plans as soon as you can and do help us to spread the word to your friends and relatives!
